Memorial Service on Friday, June 17th, 2 PM at Trinity Church

On behalf of Anita Ruthling Klaussen, I’m writing to remind you that a memorial service for our beloved Bud Collins will be held next Friday, June 17th, at Trinity Church in Copley Square, beginning at 2 PM.
In Anita’s own words:
“OUR FAMILY VERY MUCH WANTS YOU TO ATTEND, SO MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS TO ARRIVE BY BOAT, TRAIN, CAR, AIRPLANE OR BAREFOOT TO CELEBRATE BUD’S MAGICAL LIFE WITH US. PLEASE COME!!!”

Trinity Church is easily accessible by public transportation.
Immediately following the memorial service, Anita invites us all to a reception at the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, located at 711 Commonwealth Avenue.
I hope to see the Sportsmen’s family there in full force!
Also, Sportsmen’s had previously announced an evening tribute to Bud here at Sportsmen’s on the same day. We will honor Bud at the Sportsmen’s Tennis Ball on November 18th instead, and look forward to joining all of you at Trinity Church and the reception next Friday.
