High School Tennis
High School Tennis is a training program that prepares potential high school players for the spring season. The sessions are mainly tactic and matchplay focused, with an emphasis on the high school format. Offered in partnership with the Boston Latin School Tennis Association (BLAST), the High School Tennis program is open to all students playing or seeking to play on their high school tennis team. Tennis fundamentals are taught or reinforced, and players of all skill levels are encouraged to come out. Match play is emphasized.
Group I – Beginner to Intermediate.
Group II – Intermediate to Advanced. Players who are unsure of which group is best for them should register for Group I, and if needed, the coaches will adjust. If you are considering high school tennis, you are strongly encouraged to train early. Unlike other STEC clinics, there is no set ratio of students per court/coach in High School Tennis and some coaches are volunteers.
