The Sportsmen’s Tennis Ball is a celebratory semi-formal annual event showcasing another year of great tennis and academic achievement at Sportsmen’s. 600+ public officials, community & corporate leaders, tennis enthusiasts, youth and their families join Sportsmen’s to enjoy great food, a unique array of 90+ auction items and dancing to a live band. In addition to raising funds each year, we honor members of our community for their leadership and we spotlight the accomplishments of our youth.

He became the first African-American Massachusetts Governor, serving 2 terms. KA Williams_SMDr. Kim Williams is a world-renowned cardiologist who was recently named President of the American College of Cardiology. Decades ago, he was captain of the University of Chicago Tennis Team as they competed in the NCAA finals, and he even played mixed doubles with USTA President and CEO Katrina Adams.

Marilyn ChaseMarilyn Chase, MSW, has been a Sportsmen’s club member, team member and past Chair of the Board of Directors, on which she currently serves as Vice Chair.  In all of these roles, Marilyn brings her love of tennis, youth, community and family, and shares the knowledge and wisdom that could only come with her extensive service to our community and the Commonwealth.
